CALL FOR ARTISTS

In 1847 the Teatro Goldoni in Livorno was born with a rare idea: to light itself with daylight, through a great vault of crystal and iron.
On its 180th anniversary, the Theatre brings that light back to the centre and invites artists from around the world to imagine a site-specific contemporary artwork for its skylight.
An international open call for a site-specific work that engages the hall’s natural light and becomes part of the Theatre’s collection.
Open to individual artists, collectives, and curators working together with artists, with no limits of nationality or age.
